Sue has been a successful, independent driving instructor since 2012. She holds the coveted B Tech Level 4 qualification in Coaching for Driver Development and is authorised to deliver the TCIT (Tri-Coaching Instructor Training) package. TCIT is one of the most comprehensive driving instructor training courses available. It is closely aligned to the DVSA National Standards and it will fully prepare you for the Parts 1, 2 and 3 of the qualifying examinations. TCIT differs from other training courses in that it follows an integrated approach to learning, where you study for all three exams simultaneously. You start your teaching (Part 3) syllabus immediately, rather than having to pass parts 1 and 2 first, thereby accelerating the qualification process.
When you purchase the TCIT course, in addition to the course work book, you will also receive a resource pack containing:
Driving – the Essential skills
The Highway Code
Know your Traffic Signs
The Driving Instructor’s Handbook
Practical Teaching Skills
DVSA National Training Standard
DVSA National Driving Syllabus
Car & Diagram Set
Plus online access to Part 1 questions and hazard perception training via ‘Driving Test Success’.
There is also a Part 3 stand alone/rescue option, if you have completed Parts 1 and 2 successfully but need additional help with Part 3.
Note: TCIT is an online course. The practical in-car training element will be delivered in sessions of 3.5 hours and at additional cost.
